Below, you'll find a full list of our teammates here at Greece Family Dentistry and Implantology. However, if you'd like to learn more about us or our mission, feel free to contact us anytime!
Dr. Kristina Visic, DDS
Dr. Visic was born and raised in Rochester, New York. She received her
undergraduate degree from Syracuse University, a Masters of Medical Science
from Hampton University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the
University of Maryland Dental School. For advanced training, she completed
a General Practice Residency at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY.
Dr. Visic’s goal is to make patients comfortable not only as they receive
dental care but also to understand its importance. The mouth is a gateway
to the rest of the body where oral health can influence systemic diseases
and vice-versa. She values each patient as a unique individual with
different goals and needs, not a “one size fits all” approach.
When not practicing dentistry, she enjoys exercising, spending time with
family (especially her two adorable nieces) and friends, reading, watching
documentaries and listening to music. Living a healthy lifestyle and
learning is of utmost importance to her and she incorporates it in all
aspects of life. She is excited to be part of the GFDI Family!
Dr. Kyle Kenyon, DMD
Dr. Kenyon is originally from Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, roughly 40 miles west of Philadelphia. He completed his undergraduate education at The Pennsylvania State University and received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree at the Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University. In pursuit of advanced training and education, he also completed a General Practice Residency at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester.
One of the main reasons that Dr. Kenyon got into the field of dentistry was the positive impact a dentist can make on a person’s life. Whether it is due to difficulties eating, speaking, or even a lack of self-confidence when smiling, a dentist is able to improve these aspects of oral health and in turn improve a patient’s daily life. During this journey between dentist and patient, a lifelong relationship is formed that Dr. Kenyon really cherishes.
Outside of his passion for dentistry, Dr. Kenyon really enjoys being outdoors no matter the season. Hiking, golfing, skiing, boating, biking and playing tennis are some of his favorite outdoor activities while he does occasionally love relaxing on the couch watching sports or lounging in a hammock with a good book. Dr. Kenyon takes pride in being a good cook (who is always open to new recipe suggestions!) and is a dog dad to Riley, his 5 year old black lab.
Dr. Krystyna Zhezherya, DDS
Dr. Zhezherya (“Dr. Z”), was born and raised in Ukraine until she moved to the United States with her family at the age of 10. She loved math and science at an early age, so she focused on these subjects during her undergraduate studies at Syracuse University, where she graduated summa cum laude.
She spent the next 8 years in New York City, completing her DDS degree at NYU College of Dentistry, followed by residency at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx. She continued working in the city until 2022, eventually moving back Upstate to be closer to her family.
Dr. Z is passionate about dentistry and believes that the best patient outcomes happen by establishing strong patient relationships and clear communication. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Z enjoys discovering new cuisine, art, and places to hike.
Dr. Zhezherya is fluent in English, Ukrainian, Russian, and Spanish.
Dr. Maxim Yakimov, DDS
Dr. Yakimov was born in Rochester, New York after his parents immigrated from Ukraine. After graduating from Spencerport High School, Dr Yakimov received his Bachelors of Science from the University at Buffalo. He went on to complete his Doctorates of Dental Surgery at Touro College of Dental Medicine. For additional training, he completed a General Practice Residency at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY.
Dr. Yakimov believes that the ultimate key to the care of an individual lies in the important relationship between the patient and provider. One of his favorite parts of dentistry is establishing a relationship with each individual that he encounters that goes outside of dentistry. He loves getting to know each person that he meets and strives to get a laugh out of every person.
In Dr. Yakimov’s free time, he enjoys rooting for his sports teams and spending time with his friends. He is invested heavily as a Youth Leader at his local church and serves his local Slavic community. Outside of dentistry, you will almost always find him outside on a tractor or with a shovel in his hand.
Dr. Oliver G Cabrera, DDS
Dr Cabrera, originally a native of Florida, resides in Greece, NY. He has a lovely wife, Christa a native of Rochester, and four wonderful children: Olivia, Annabella, Christian, and Roman. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and served 6 years as an Armor Officer in the 4th Infantry Division. His experience laid a foundation for success as he went on to graduate at the top of his class at Howard University College of Dentistry. He later finished his residency between the University of Florida and Rochester General Hospital where he learned advanced surgical procedures, IV sedation, and began his implant training. Dr Cabrera is diligent in staying abreast of the most current techniques and believes in practicing evidence based dentistry, which is why he chose to complete his Implant Training at the Misch Institute of Implantology. Dr Cabrera treats every aspect of dentistry including restorative, prosthodontics, pedodontics, implantology, endodontics, oral surgery, periodontics, orthodontics, and TMD. Dr Cabrera is a true gentleman that loves to take time with his patients. His deep sense of compassion and warm chairside manner stems from his intimate relationship with the Lord. He loves dentistry, but more importantly loves to serve Christ and hopes that his gentleness, care, and treatment can reflect his love for God.
